quality is not an option: it is at the heart of the company\u2019s industrial performance and credibility in African and tropical markets.<\/p><p>To support the development of its quality management system and prepare for the accreditation of its in-house laboratory, the group implemented the Agilium solution at some of its facilities, first at <strong>Technisem<\/strong> (industrial site) and then at <strong>Seedlab<\/strong>, its quality control laboratory.<\/p><p>Feedback from Natacha Hillairet, Quality Manager at the <strong>Seedlab<\/strong> laboratory and Quality Project Manager for <strong>Technisem<\/strong>.<\/p><div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element \"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><h2><span id=\"Un_groupe_multi-entites_avec_un_enjeu_fort_de_structuration\"><strong>A multi-entity group facing a major restructuring challenge<\/strong><\/span><\/h2><\/div><\/div><div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element \"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><p><strong>Novalliance<\/strong> brings together several companies that work in synergy<\/p><ul><li><strong>Technisem<\/strong>, an industrial facility dedicated to the receipt, processing, packaging, and shipment of seeds<\/li><li><strong>Seedlab<\/strong>, a quality control laboratory, is a separate legal entity but is affiliated with the group<\/li><\/ul><p>The operational unit centered around <strong>Technisem<\/strong> has about 100 employees, for a total of approximately 800 employees across the group. The laboratory, which is smaller, has a team of 6 to 10 people. <\/p><p>In this multi-site, multi-entity environment, the challenge is clear: to standardize practices, centralize information, and ensure reliable traceability, all while preparing for the laboratory\u2019s future accreditation.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-35e96ee elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"35e96ee\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h2>Before: <span id=\"Avant_Agilium_une_demarche_qualite_morcelee\"><strong>a fragmented quality approach<\/strong><\/span><\/h2><p>Before the solution was deployed, quality management relied on:<\/p><ul><li>documents shared on network drives<\/li><li>tracking nonconformities in Excel<\/li><li>scattered attachments<\/li><li>There are few links between documentation, audits, action plans, and nonconformities<\/li><\/ul><p>An internal audit conducted in 2023 highlighted these weaknesses: a lack of traceability, documentation that was difficult to consolidate, and poorly structured oversight.<\/p><p>In an environment where nonconformities must be managed on a daily basis, the lack of a centralized system posed an organizational risk and hindered progress toward quality maturity.<\/p><div class=\"vc_empty_space\"> <\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-f973410 e-con-full e-flex e-con e-child\" data-id=\"f973410\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\" data-settings=\"{&quot;background_background&quot;:&quot;classic&quot;}\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-c528a0a elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"c528a0a\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><em>\u201cThey were file-sharing networks, with documents scattered all over the place\u2026 non-compliance tracking in Excel spreadsheets, attachments in other files\u2026 We ended up with a whole bunch of items scattered everywhere that we couldn\u2019t connect. We had the information\u2026 but it was scattered.
