been committed to a structured quality assurance approach. With 7<strong> certifications already obtained and 4 currently in the process of being obtained<\/strong>, the university must build on its achievements and promote quality-related practices. The diversity of our academic programs and the geographic distribution of our student body (across 16 campuses) make it essential to provide a collaborative, cross-functional, and centralized tool.  <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-5c233d64 e-con-full e-flex e-con e-child\" data-id=\"5c233d64\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\" data-settings=\"{&quot;background_background&quot;:&quot;classic&quot;}\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-28aa228e elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"28aa228e\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><em>\u201cWith an organizational structure typical of a higher education institution, UPEC operates in a complex manner. It is often difficult to assess the progress of our quality initiatives and whether we are meeting our predefined objectives. In this context, using tools to guide our efforts has become absolutely essential.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-35e96ee elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"35e96ee\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h2>Before: A siloed approach to quality management<\/h2><div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element \"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><p>Prior to this, the monitoring and implementation of our quality initiatives relied on Excel and related office software and were specific to each operating unit. This approach led to a loss of information and made it difficult to track audits or the continuous improvement initiatives that had been launched, for example. The lack of a shared database limited overall visibility into existing quality initiatives.  <\/p><\/div><\/div><div class=\"vc_empty_space\"> <\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-f973410 e-con-full e-flex e-con e-child\" data-id=\"f973410\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\" data-settings=\"{&quot;background_background&quot;:&quot;classic&quot;}\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-c528a0a elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"c528a0a\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><em>\u201cLike many institutions responsible for quality initiatives, we were using Office 365 tools, but they weren\u2019t suitable: without a true database, files were scattered, and it was even less practical when we\u2019re spread across multiple campuses. That\u2019s precisely why I wanted to centralize this information by acquiring a dedicated tool.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-5b5b485 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"5b5b485\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h2>Choosing Agilium as a quality solution<\/h2><p>Agilium stood out because of its ability to combine <strong>data management, governance, and visibility<\/strong> within a single tool. Thanks to the tool, everything is documented and kept up to date, not to mention the real-time visual reporting, which is a real plus\u2014it radically changes the way we used to manage our quality initiatives.<\/em><em>\u201d<\/em><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-d882169 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"d882169\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h2>An Agile and Collaborative Rollout<\/h2><p>At UPEC, the implementation of the tool was based on the agile methodology, involving the planning <strong>of short workshops<\/strong> (scrums), <strong>user working groups<\/strong>, and the ongoing involvement of relevant stakeholders.
