Hosting and Security
Everything you need to know about protecting your data.
How is my data protected against cyberattacks?
We deploy a container-isolated architecture protected by an advanced application security layer. Your data flows are exclusively encrypted using TLS 1.3, and your databases are encrypted at rest. To ensure the integrity of our platform, we perform encrypted off-site backups and subject our entire infrastructure to annual penetration tests (pentests) conducted by independent cybersecurity experts.

Can Agilium be deployed as SaaS or on-premises?
Both options are available. You can choose the SaaS model, where we manage the entire infrastructure, updates, and security for you, or opt for an on-premises deployment on your own servers if your IT policy or regulatory requirements dictate it. In both cases, you’ll enjoy the same features and the same level of support. Your choice of hosting model may also change over time: migration support is available if you wish to switch from one plan to the other. Contact us for on-premises pricing.

Where is my data stored?
For the SaaS subscription, your data is hosted exclusively on servers located in Europe (European Union), in accordance with the GDPR. We prioritize using infrastructure in your country—particularly in France and Switzerland—and perform regular backups to ensure the availability of your data under all circumstances.

Can we set up more secure environments for certain types of documents?
Yes. You can set up environments that are more secure than others to ensure confidentiality. Administrators retain access even to archived documents, but these documents are hidden from users. At each level of the classification scheme, you can implement confidentiality or security measures to restrict access. For example, you can restrict access to a salary policy to management only, while the rest remains visible to everyone.

How are access rights managed?
There is one predefined primary role on the Agilium SaaS platform: the Admin role.
The Admin role provides access to app settings, user management, role management, and more.
Other roles are added depending on the application’s context and are created on demand, but they are often prefixed with the name of the application in question.
It is possible to manage permissions very precisely on the SaaS platform so that each user has access to the information they need.
When setting up the application, we adjust these settings in collaboration with your internal resources (CIO, manager, or your company’s IT department).

Does Agilium support authentication via an Azure AD directory (SSO)?
Yes. You can configure Azure AD as an identity provider to access the Agilium web application. The main benefit is that it allows users to authenticate to the SaaS application by entering their Active Directory usernames and passwords. A single username and password to access all of their applications.
Furthermore, since authentication is handled by Azure AD servers, passwords are not sent (and therefore not stored or known) by the Agilium application

How is confidentiality handled for specific documents?
Confidentiality is ensured through granular access control: for each folder or document, you can specify who is authorized to view, edit, or contribute to it.
